Removing a floor; where do you start?

Have you decided to change the floors in your home? Maybe you are moving or have a clearance planned and the floors need to be removed. Removing a floor is a difficult job and it is actually better to leave it to real professionals. They can also always lay a new floor immediately. Saves you a lot of time and work!

It is a specialist job

Whether it is carpet, tiles or laminate, removing a floor should always be done correctly. It is of course also very important to ensure that all the last remnants of floor and adhesive residue are removed so that the new floor can be laid neatly. This often requires a razor-sharp machine knife.

How do you start removing (PVC) flooring?

When removing a floor, you have to take into account various things. For example, carpeting is always glued over the entire surface. Removing this is therefore not easy. A carpet stripper is often used for this. Removing a PVC floor is also always done with a special stripping machine.

For a (non-reinforced) sand cement screed floor, an electric breaker is always used. Glued parquet is also difficult to remove. It is important to check whether water-soluble glue has been used and not strong glue so that it can be loosened. Is there extra glued laminate? Then this also requires a special approach.

Removing an old wooden floor ditto. Professionals will have removed your old wooden floor before you know it!

As you can see, all this requires a specialist approach and when you have it done by professionals, you can be assured that it will be done correctly.

Removing (PVC) floors – a time-consuming job

Removing an old floor is a difficult job and is therefore better left to men who are specialized and also have the right resources for this. These men also have experience with removing different types of floors and can help you well. Whether it is a concrete floor, floating parquet or reinforced sand cement. They are always ready for you.

Is there also underfloor heating?

It is very important to first check if there is underfloor heating. You should always be able to tell the professionals if there is a subfloor and what type. This can be poured or milled and both require a different approach.

A new floor

Do you want to change your interior and does the old floor need to be removed? Then choose a new floor so that it can be laid immediately. This way you don't have to wait for anything.
